Son Servants in Jamaica

I just returned a few days ago from a 10 day mission trip to the mountains of Jamaica with my church, 1st Presbyterian of Griffin. It was an amazing time of reflection, growth, challenge, and fellowship. We were one of 3 camps that Son Servants hosted this June in Jamaica. There were about 450 of us total! Our camp, Kendal, had a little over 150. There were about 12 churches representing all parts of the USA. Son Servants is a mission organization that I have been a part of since I was 12 and I am turning 30 this summer! There has been about 3 summers that I haven’t participated in at least one trip, if not more than one! The Son Servants family has always been a huge part of my life. I took 11 students with me:10 girls and 1 boy! We had a blast together. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of teenagers to take. It was hard for me personally to be gone from my son, Miles, for 10 days, but I know there were lots of people that kept us all in their prayers and everything went even smoother than imagined. I have posted a few different pictures of various things: work, children, and the infirmary. If you are intersted in seeing the full collection please just click here. There are MANY pictures, but there were so many things to capture… I had my own church group there and keep in mind, we were there for 10 days! It will only be a taste of what we experienced first hand!
