David and Shelly are getting married in just a few weeks!!! I am pretty excited about their big day! I know that Shelly’s little girl is going to be a beautiful jr. bridesmaid and just might steal the show with those awesome blue eyes of hers! We had fun exploring Meadlowlark Gardens and I was super impressed when Shelly was ALL for getting up in the barn loft IN HER HEELS!!! That is some talent… I can’t wait to see you guys again soon! I had a great afternoon with TJ and Abi!! These two are getting married in September and I am sure already counting down the days! Sometimes the planning can get in the way of all the excitement, but I think it is safe to say that these two are madly in love with each other and really cute together! I really enjoyed meeting you guys, I know your day will be just as you hoped and imagined!!! Sorry about all the mosquito bites, hope you like your preview!

Well… I probably should have been worried when Chad and Kelly had to “meet me at the bottom of the mountain” to take me to the location we were using for their shoot! First of all, I didn’t quite realize there were mountains that close to me (in GA), and 2nd of all, i was also informed that this might be the worst year for TICKS! Yuck! HA! I was excited to see this special place… literally a (beautiful) cabin in the mountains! Abby and Oscar (their furry kids) joined us for the shoot and were very sweet and a great addition to the shoot. I have never had a “bride to be” hop in the back of a truck with 2 dogs all dressed up and manage to not get whacked in the head with tree limbs! We hiked… did a little rock hopping… and i KNOW that chad might have wished I was the one sitting in the back of the truck when I asked him (for the 100th) time, “do you think your truck will make it up this hill?” or “do you think that rock just popped your tire.” I was a nervous passenger… but of course we survived (they never seemed worried) and came out with some amazing pictures for them! I loved meeting the donkeys and goats! Thanks guys for (keeping me safe) choosing me to shoot your wedding! Can’t wait to see you in just a few short weeks!

You can tell by the look in her eyes that Annie has found the man of her dreams! These two are very sweet together and I am so glad that asked me to do their engagement pictures! Their big day is this time NEXT year… so let the planning begin guys! Enjoy it, and try to have some “hot” date nights with NO wedding talk! Hope you like your preview!

Again… last saturday was SOOO hot, but Marty and Karyn were troopers in their sweaters, long sleeved shirts, and jeans! These two are getting married in 2011 and you can just tell they are crazy about each other! Marty is the Minister of Music at First Baptist here in Griffin, and Kayrn works for the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship up in Atlanta. Two super sweet and special people… I have a feeling FBC will be PACKED on one special Saturday next year!!!! Hope you guys enjoy your preview and have fun with the rest of your planning!!!

I had to giggle a little when Brooke and I were discussing our shoot and she “warned” me that they were “a little bit country”. Of course that is extra fun when you throw in some belt buckles, cowboy hats, and some boots. We had a blast! It was a super HOT day, but that didn’t stop us from exploring all Rock Ranch had to offer! Brooke and Thomas, I hope you love your preview and I REALLY hope you have a great time planning all of the details of your wedding next year!

Last week, I met up with Chris and Meghan at Meadowlark Gardens for their engagement shoot! I LOVE love it when couples take me seriously when I ask them to kiss. Sometimes all I have to say to the guy… is “kiss her like you would if I wasn’t right here!” Makes for some sweet and genuine pictures! This sweet couple actually GOT married this past summer and wanted MORE pictures! How great is that, to get some pictures made with NO stress, NO drama, NO pressure! Megan and Josh are getting married in JUNE at Meadowlark, so they called me up when she saw I was doing some mini sessions there! They will “tie the knot” right infront of the big oak tree in the picture above! We used the time for their engagement shoot! I had SO much fun! While they don’t LOVE the traditional posed type pictures, they didn’t mind at ALL to be fun and silly for our shoot! I had a great time with you guys… hope you love your preview!
