the free family

This, i think, was my third visit with this family! This time we met up at their new house which had the perfect backdrop for these fall pictures! We had awesome leaf color, lots of land, and lots of big pretty trees! I know these kids are going to love being out here! It is funny because now the older girls are pretty much preteens and more…. their pictures are getting fuller and the family picture isn’t just this sweet little cluster of kids. It is a growing group of people with kids that are fun and full of personality! Thanks for having me out there! Hope you like your preview!

I had so much fun spending time with these two girls. I have known mom and dad now from a little over a year. Dena and Mark are co-owners over at Club Fitness in Griffin and i have seen the girls running around helping out every now and then on their breaks and some this summer, but this was my first chance to get to know them a little! There house was perfect for a backdrop for their session AND we got to include their new little brother, Banjo, in the shoot too! He was a bit of a camera hog! I hope you guys had a fun weekend!

I had so much fun meeting this sweet family! They drove down for their shoot last week from Canton! I know we had lots of fun and we laughed a ton! I am pretty sure on the drive home they probably made fun of me looking at my camera saying “aw, you guys are so cute” a milion times! All I can say is that when my little girl is THIS age… i HOPE and PRAY she will WANT to be sweet and take pictures like this with ME! You guys really were fun and cute… hope it was worth the drive!!!

These cousins were pretty sweet. They tried to “pretend” they didn’t like each other much at the beginning of the shoot, but somehow it was not hard at all to get them to “love” eachother for the camera at least! You can tell these two families have some fun memories and spend a good bit of time together, they act more like siblings! I hope you guys love your preview!

This is one SWEET and fun family! I have gotten to know the oldest daughter in the past few years because she would come to my youth group with some of the kids. NOW… she is one of our favorite babysitters (i think Miles has a little crush on her). Anyway, originally, this was going to be a surprise for dad’s birthday, then father’s day… but then mom found out that her in-laws would be in town… so it just became a MUST that everyone be IN the shoot! Mom chose this location because her son participated in an Eagle Scout project there with a friend. They designed and installed a stone/pebble patio around the BBQ pit. It is a great addition to this historical site!!!

Jada, Janaii, and Jaleah came over to Griffin from Fairburn with their Aunt Brenda. It was so sweet to meet them. I think they left with sore cheeks from smiling and giggling so much. They loved having their pictures taken… and I think their Aunt really made them feel special to have a shoot just for them! I had a great time meeting you girls!!!

This is the first time I have ever done a shoot in the rain ON PURPOSE! Annette from the CLOTHESLINE (in Griffin) specifically watned to highlight her PROM dresses in the newest edition of The Kitchen Drawer. She wanted it to be fun, different, and more creative. So here we are, at the farm, in the rain, 40 degree weather, and some of the most fun girls in Griffin! The Clothesline is a high-end consignment store. Typically, it is geared more for teens and young adults, but definitely has things for people of all ages! Be sure to check it out. She is always getting in lots of new clothing/accessories/gifts and reciently got a shipment of over 200 new PROM dresses!

I have gotten to know this family for the last two years and have loved watching my son and John grow to be best buds! John’s mommy (that is what my son calls her) won a session with me at the FUMP Winter Carnival… I was so excited to hear that I would get to hang out with them to take their pictures! Anna is going to be a Senior at Monroe next fall and Margaret will be heading to Spalding as a 9th grader! It is so fun to be around these kids because they laugh and make EVERYTHING fun! John’s mommy, I hope you love your sneak peek and Happy Mother’s Day!!!

I can’t believe Dylan is almost 5 years old! That means I have been taking his pictures for almost 2 years now! It has been so neat to watch Dylan and Jackson grow up. Jackson is walking, climbing, and talking now and Dylan will be starting SCHOOL next fall! Star, hope you like your sneak peek AND I am sure your Dad will love his gift!

So, I sort of had a feeling I would like this family when the mama convinced me I should squeeze them in to my mini sessions last weekend. She said, “My kids are 11 and 14, we won’t have to deal with any of that “toddler” drama!” I thought that was pretty funny, not that I EVER have to deal with toddler “drama” at my shoots… I have been grateful for pretty easy kids! Anyway, I spent more time laughing WITH them than I have at any of my shoots. All four of them were equally funny, but the best part was hearing them all pick on the boy about ALL of his little girlfriends! Talk about getting a guy to smile! It was so fun to meet you “F” family and I hope you don’t wait another 8 years to get your pictures taken!
