This was my third year attending this sale and I have always found some great stuff. You can sell clothing, work the sale, and shop early! It is also open to the public for two days! They have it all: clothes newborn up to teens, maternity, books, DVDs, toys galore, swings, cribs, all things baby, bikes, yard toys, and car seats. Innvision Design Launch Party

A few weeks ago, I was asked to document the launch party for Innvision Design. There was a crowd of people there from all over the Southeast. Innvision Hospitality Supply provides furniture and custom design for MANY major hotel chains in the Southeast. It was really neat to be a “fly on a wall” for something like this… hearing the ins and outs of how hotels get all of the best BEDS (and bedding) out there. Now this company also provides all of the design features from the lobbies to the conference rooms to the bathrooms, they can do it all.

Had a great shoot with the ladies of Star Salon! It is amazing how much this salon has grown in the last 3 years!! Star offers a FULL service salon including facials, tanning, massage, nails, and all things hair. She also has a PINK party room upstairs for birthday parties for young girls!

Andrew and Rhonda are one of those couples that instantly can make you laugh and feel like you have known them for years! Andrew is the pastor at Voice to the Nations. I think he and his wife Rhonda might have secretly laughed at me (in a good way) when I asked them if they might want to go for 2 different “looks”… one more formal and one more casual. Well… as you can see…. they dressed UP for the second part of the shoot. I absolutely love that about them… come as you are. Worship isn’t about what you wear… it is about your heart and where you are with the Lord! I am pretty confident anyone who walks through the doors of that church is welcomed with open arms (and a big hug). I ALSO love that these two are madly in love with eachother! I had never met them and after a few minutes could tell that they probably still get excited to go on date nights together. I had a great time with you guys and am grateful for the lives that are changing because of your ministry here in Griffin.

I had a great time with this shoot. Typically, I have to bribe my clients with big swirly pop suckers, but these guys were a little easier. These are the faces of Maddox & Harding Law Offices in Griffin and Zebulon. They needed some updated shots for some publicity material! I think a few of these pictures might make an appearance in the Kitchen Drawer Magazine! Check it out!

This is the first time I have ever done a shoot in the rain ON PURPOSE! Annette from the CLOTHESLINE (in Griffin) specifically watned to highlight her PROM dresses in the newest edition of The Kitchen Drawer. She wanted it to be fun, different, and more creative. So here we are, at the farm, in the rain, 40 degree weather, and some of the most fun girls in Griffin! The Clothesline is a high-end consignment store. Typically, it is geared more for teens and young adults, but definitely has things for people of all ages! Be sure to check it out. She is always getting in lots of new clothing/accessories/gifts and reciently got a shipment of over 200 new PROM dresses!

I did a quick shoot yesterday for Nicole, the owner of Hissyfit in Griffin. We had lots of fun.. the kids were all mostly dressed in clothing available at her shop. Hissyfit is a high-end consignment boutique, but so much more! Her friend Charlotte makes some of the cutest outfits and sells them there. They applique clothing, monogram anything, but also provide new baby gifts, including bumpcloths, bibs, and bloomers! Its a very fun shop and located in the Wal-Mart shopping center in Griffin! Be sure to stop by!

2010 is looking good!

So today is 01.01.2010!! I am excited to mark this day with the debut of my new blog(site)! While this is pretty similar to my old blog, I am hoping that you will notice a few new things!!! The pictures are big and pretty (what I am most excited about)! I also have an awesome new logo that I love, thanks to a good friend and photography mentor, Robin. I am hoping that this blog is a little more user-friendly! 2009 was a great year for Stansberry Photography. I met over 100 new families, got to snuggle and “shoot” 12 new babies, and took lots of priceless pictures for proud happy moms! If YOU are one of those clients, I want to say THANKS! Thanks for inviting me in to capture your sweet family just as they are and also… thanks for telling your friends about me!

With a couple weddings on the calendar, 20 sessions booked for the first couple of months, and 5 babies on the way this spring, I think 2010 is already shaping up to be a great year! I would love for you to be a part of it, so be sure to let me know if you have any thoughts, questions, or want to book a session! Keep an eye out for my specials, my mini sessions for the spring/Easter season, and I would absolutely LOVE to see you, your family, and your friends’ families throughout 2010!’

Nicole from HissyFit called last week to see if I could come and do a quick shoot for some new marketing material for her NEW shop! Her specialty is children’s clothing consignment, but she also monograms, has AWESOME pillowcase dresses, AND she is making her own bows! I LOVE IT… so of course I was excited to help out! Check out the next SCOOP to see what they put together! Here are just a few of my favorites… you might recognize her daughter Marlie (4Y) and 2 week old Rylee-Ann who is the daughter of Brittney… a co-worker next door @ the Clothesline!
