  • Welcome to my Blog!

Oh... this is tough!  If you found this site, you must be looking for me, checking out my work, or desiring a shoot for your family or loved ones!  You might be wondering who I am, why do I love photography, and why you should pick me as your photographer!

I am a believer, a wife, a mother, and a friend.  I spent over ten years in full-time ministry working with teenagers and families.  I learned that I love to watch families--how they work, how they relate, and how they love.  I often found myself in awe and inspired by those families that weren't afraid to celebrate, love, and mourn with no inhibitions.

Almost a year ago, I resigned from my job to stay home with my sweet children.  I know for a fact that I never would have walked away from my job to be a photographer, but I have been blessed by my decision to stay home in a way I would have never imagined. What used to be my "for fun" hobby that I did on the side, for four years, has grown by over 100%.  Just in the past year I have met and photographed over 120 new familes.  I look at this past year and can only be AMAZED and grateful!

Now, even though I am no longer in full-time ministry, I can look through my lens and watch families... watch how they work, how they relate, and how they love.  I hope to get a chance one day to capture your family, right where you are at this point in life.

tucker @ ten months

I think i could eat this little guy up!!! I am so glad tucker is finally feeling better…. between the weather, a big ole’ bump on the head, getting sick, I was worried he would be ONE before I got to see him again! This little one is a hoot… sing for him and he will either look at you like you are crazy (or just can’t sing) or he will start dancing and smiling like a crazy man! I know mama and daddy are going to have a fun Christmas…. you better wrap those gifts BACK up before next week! Hope you like your preview!

carter E @ three months (and big brother seeley)

I was soooo SAD for this mama when she called me the day of her Santa session to say that big brother had the stomach bug!!! We still got little Carter in there for his FIRST visit, but sad not to get big brother!!! Carter was due for his 3 month pictures so i spent some time with them yesterday morning to get it all taken care of!!! Even though Seeley didn’t get to see santa (who he apparently is super scared of anyway) we did some sweet “by the tree” pics of him AND got some sweet ones of him WITH brother Carter (more of those will come later)! Baby carter is precious and so laid back… as long as we were talking sweet to him he was good to go!!! Hope you like your preview!

tori @ twenty months

It had been a few months since i have seen little miss tori in action and i was AMAZED at her new skills she is working on!!! My girl can pull up, stand holding hands, and crawl on all fours!!! Why is this amazing for THIS 20 month old? Because she is amazing all of the people who surround her and love her by showing us that her Spina Bifida is NOT going to slow her down! She is also starting to master walking with her cute little walker. Not only is this sweet girl determined, but she is pretty much a pure delight! Just hearing her sweet little voice say “hey”, melts your heart and puts a huge goofy smile on EVERY ONE’s face! I love it! I know you guys are going to have fun this Christmas and SO glad it is 100% different than LAST Christmas! Hope you love your preview!! Glad you (and tori) are in our lives!!!
