I don’t know how to write this without getting personal and somewhat teary!! This talented songwriter/singer/musician/beautiful girl grew up at the church I used to work at. I got to watch her grow up (along with a whole church family/extended family) and become this amazing girl with amazing talent. She just finished her sophomore year at UGA and has been working on this album for what feels like a LONG time… i think the anticipation of its release just had everyone that much MORE excited about getting their hands on one!
Emily, I was amazed last week! Amazed to hear you sing, and amazed at the amount of people (who love you) that came under one roof for this pretty major event in your life! Almost every important person in your life was there that night… and if they weren’t… i am pretty sure they probably called/wrote/checked in and were thinking about you! I am honored to be able to say that I once was one of your back up singers!!! And will always be one of your biggest fans!
