  • Welcome to my Blog!

Oh... this is tough!  If you found this site, you must be looking for me, checking out my work, or desiring a shoot for your family or loved ones!  You might be wondering who I am, why do I love photography, and why you should pick me as your photographer!

I am a believer, a wife, a mother, and a friend.  I spent over ten years in full-time ministry working with teenagers and families.  I learned that I love to watch families--how they work, how they relate, and how they love.  I often found myself in awe and inspired by those families that weren't afraid to celebrate, love, and mourn with no inhibitions.

Almost a year ago, I resigned from my job to stay home with my sweet children.  I know for a fact that I never would have walked away from my job to be a photographer, but I have been blessed by my decision to stay home in a way I would have never imagined. What used to be my "for fun" hobby that I did on the side, for four years, has grown by over 100%.  Just in the past year I have met and photographed over 120 new familes.  I look at this past year and can only be AMAZED and grateful!

Now, even though I am no longer in full-time ministry, I can look through my lens and watch families... watch how they work, how they relate, and how they love.  I hope to get a chance one day to capture your family, right where you are at this point in life.

harley, logan, and caden

These kids were so sweet and were dressed perfect for a surprise whirly pop sucker at the end of our shoot. I am sure I over use them, but sometimes that is what it takes to win a toddler over!!! Logan (the older boy) wanted to “cheese” smile at first, but mom got him loosened up a bit… and check out the dimple that came with his sweet sweet smiles. Hope to see you guys again soon… enjoy your preview!

sweet sisters

Jada, Janaii, and Jaleah came over to Griffin from Fairburn with their Aunt Brenda. It was so sweet to meet them. I think they left with sore cheeks from smiling and giggling so much. They loved having their pictures taken… and I think their Aunt really made them feel special to have a shoot just for them! I had a great time meeting you girls!!!

family

This sweet family participated in last weekend’s mini session. I love meeting new families that I FEEL like i have always known! Their primary colored polos and jean at the end of the session were perfect out back at the bailey tebault!!! Very basic and casual, but perfect for family shoot!!

Maddox & Harding

I had a great time with this shoot. Typically, I have to bribe my clients with big swirly pop suckers, but these guys were a little easier. These are the faces of Maddox & Harding Law Offices in Griffin and Zebulon. They needed some updated shots for some publicity material! I think a few of these pictures might make an appearance in the Kitchen Drawer Magazine! Check it out!

“r” squared | atlanta georgia newborn photography

Last Saturday, I traveled up to Atlanta to meet sweet baby Robert. Oh my!!! He was so sweet and just went with the flow! This might be the first baby boy that has not peed, pooped, or spit up on me! Mom and Dad were so excited to have his first pictures taken… even his big (furry) brother, Rowdy, wanted in on the action! Hope you love your preview!!!
